Making summer vacation plans?

End of days, May 21, 2011, Harold Camping, William Miller, Biblical phrases twisted, End of day predictios, 153 days from May
The question is -- Did he come; is he invisible?
Ok -- how many of you know about Harold Camping's Doomsday prediction that on May 21, 2011, the world will end? Does he remind you of William Miller, a farmer and self-taught biblical scholar from NY who pinned the end of days on 1874? How many of you know that the end of days dates have already moved 5 times? From 1874 to 1914 and then to 1925, 1941 and 1975?

Some reasons why Harold Camping is wrong:
1. He has done this before and was wrong
2. His Calculations are Un-biblical
3. His Biblical understanding is completely off
4. He denies that Jesus is God

5. Camping does not preach the Gospel

Statement from Osama Bin Laden's family

"I, Omar Ossama Binladin and my brothers the lawful children and heirs of the Ossama Binladin (OBL) have noted wide coverage of the news of the death of our father, but we are not convinced on the available evidence in the absence of dead body, photographs, and video evidence that our natural father is dead. Therefore, with this press statement, we seek such conclusive evidence to believe the stories published in relation to 2 May 2011 operation Geronimo as declared by the President of United States Barrack Hussein Obama in his speech that he authorized the said operation and killing of OBL and later confirmed his death.

If OBL has been killed in that operation as President of United States has claimed then we are just in questioning as per media reports that why an unarmed man was not arrested and tried in a court of law so that truth is revealed to the people of the world. If he has been summarily executed then, we question the propriety of such assassination where not only international law has been blatantly violated but USA has set a very different example whereby right to have a fair trial, and presumption of innocence until proven guilty by a court of law has been sacrificed on which western society is built and is standing when a trial of OBL was possible for any wrongdoing as that of Iraqi President Sadam Hussein and Serbian President Slobodan Miloševic'. We maintain that arbitrary killing is not a solution to political problems and crime's adjudication as Justice must be seen to be done.

It is also unworthy of the special forces to shoot unarmed female family members of Binladen killing a female and that of one of his son.

Jacob Lusk - God bless the child

Jacob Lusk, God bless the child, American idol 2011, hollywood week auditions, Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, Gospel singer on American idol
Jacob Lusk
Jacob Lusk is a college drop out with a dream. He is a gospel singer with strong faith in the god above. It really shows in his rendition of 'God Bless the Child'. Too bad he was voted off the show last week as America chose to keep Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery, Haley Reinhart and James Durbin.

Funny thing: Watch Randy Jackson's reaction at the end along with Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez
.

Is being gay a sin?

Are you ready to get a load of this?
Kalla Fakta, Frälsnings armén, Frälsningsarmén, Being gay is a sin, Håll grytan kokande, TV4, Swedish Salvation Army
Swedish Salvation Army poster: Keep the pot boiling
An undercover journalist from Swedish TV4’s Kalla Fakta (‘Cold Facts’) investigative news programme used a hidden camera to record his conversation with a leader from one of the country’s Salvation Army (Frälsningsarmén) chapters. “The Salvation Army’s basic position is that homosexual sex is a sin. A man shouldn’t sleep with a man in the way he sleeps with a woman,” the chapter leader told the TV4 reporter in a programme broadcast on May 8, Sunday evening.

Another chapter leader asked God to help free the reporter from his homosexuality.

In an email to TV4, Salvation Army representatives said the exchange was likely due to “a few personal views from a few chapter leaders”.
In subsequent email messages, Kalla Fakta pressed the Salvation Army to explain why the Junior Soldier’s Promise lesson book includes passages saying that children and young people should learn that homosexuality is wrong.

The Salvation Army responded that the material is “outdated in its entirety and is in the process of being reviewed and updated”.
According to Kalla Fakta, the Salvation Army developed an ethics document in 1996 which established that people who live as homosexuals can’t be soldiers in the Salvation Army.

The document was changed this year and no longer includes the text about homosexuality.

Microsoft buys Skype for $8.5 Bn

Surprised? Well, I sure am.
$8.5Bn, Bing, free data link calls, Internet telephony, Lync, Microsoft buys Skype, Microsoft Online services, Microsoft Telecommunications, Skype, who owns Skype now
Courtesy: David Loh/Reuters
Skype has been recording losses of about $686 M in the last year and has not been profitable for a few years now. Skype is seen as a threat by all mobile operators as it is a way to call across countries through data link for free. Now, with the new development, I am not so sure the "Skype freedom" is going to continue.

Microsoft's online service has only loss making history with Lync and Bing being recorded as losses. Bing is in loss since 2005. I am not sure what Microsoft has been thinking ever since they offered to buy Yahoo for $48Bn in 2007. Some screws are coming off, but this move of acquiring Skype along with their losses beats me. Sure, Microsoft Telecommunications now have a new internet telephony tool to their armory -- but did they need it?

Has Skype ever recorded a profitable year? Yes - before 2005. Is that enough reason to buy Skype? Only Microsoft knows. So, who owns Skype now? Microsoft Online Services.
Why Microsoft online services, why?

BGT 2011, Bodypopping, Britain's Got Talent 2011, French dancer in Britain's got talent, Haspop, Michael Moral, Razi gogonea
When I saw Haspop, I thought he was good --- and in comes Razi Gogonea. Now, Michael Moral -- he is definitely one of the best I've ever seen. Now, Razi Gogonea has got a stiffer challenge in the competition.

21-year-old dance teacher Michael watches Britain's Got Talent on YouTube in his home country of France and has always dreamed of having the opportunity of performing for the Royal Family. Making the long trip to Birmingham from the south of France - Michael has come, along with his translator, to share his incredible dancing moves with the judges. After just a few seconds of bumps and grinds, it's clear that Michael knows how to move! Will his journey to Britain, in the hopes that he'll be able to perform his fantastic talent at the Royal Variety, be dashed or will his cool moves win over the British crowd?

But will he be accepted by the public? Will Britons vote for a French guy for the winner of Britain's Got Talent? Either way, this is proof that France has got talent! =)

FarmVille for real!

National Trust's Wimpole Home Farm seeks online farmers
A National Trust farm is to be run by online subscribers voting on which crops to grow and livestock to rear. For a £30 annual fee, 10,000 farm followers will help manage Wimpole Home Farm, in Cambridgeshire. The National Trust says its MyFarm project aims to reconnect people with where their food comes from.

It was partly inspired by the online Facebook game Farmville and follows the example of Ebbsfleet Football Club which is run on a similar basis. Decisions about the running of the team in Kent has been in the hands of MyFootballClub subscribers since 2008.
